• Steve Smith’s & David Warner’s Ban on IPL

The recent Australia vs South Africa Test Series has been exciting, both on field and off the field.

There has been too much of sledging by the Australians. The staircase scuffle between David Warner and Quinto de Kock and the massive ball-tampering scandal have been the talk of cricket town.

During the third test match, the cameras caught Cameron Bancroft using sandpaper to roughen up one side of the ball. Later, CA revealed that Captain Steve Smith and Vice-Captain David Warner were also involved in the ball tampering plot.

All three players received a lengthy ban from domestic and international cricket. While Smith and Warner were convicted with a twelve-month ban, Cameron was given nine months.

Injured Mitchell Starc ruled out of IPL

Further, CA had tweeted on Friday that Mitchell Starc will not play the third Test against Australia due to a stress fracture in his right leg. Also, the tweet read that he will be back home and will not play this year’s IPL .

The left arm pacer was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. 9.4 crores. His absence is a huge setback for the KKR.
